Job Details

Perform normal laboratory tests, take vital signs, and give prescriptions or treatments. Assist physicians in assessing patients’ conditions. Prepare the patients for inspection and treatment. Answer nurse call systems and alert the proper persons as needed.

A registered nurse (RN) offers direct patient care in the critical care unit.

The nurse specializes in care for critically sick patients, including those with multiple organ failure, cardiovascular, respiratory, or metabolic illnesses, as well as trauma patients.

Nurses also care for patients who require sophisticated life support, such as ventilator patients and those with severe brain injuries.

Nurses are trained to give critical care to patients who have life-threatening problems.

Job Requirements

  • Registered Nursing Degree
  • 3–5 years of experience.
  • Basic computing proficiency.
  • shown strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.

What are the Responsibility for this job ?

  • Monitors the patient’s vital signs and responds to crises.
  • Assists with gathering medical histories and providing physical exams.
  • Offers routine and emergency care to individuals.
  • Performs several diagnostic procedures.
  • Provides patients with information on health maintenance.
  • Prepares and maintains patient records.
  • Performs additional responsibilities as specified.
  • Assist physicians and healthcare teams to provide healthcare services to patients.
  • Provide nurse care to patients in acute or critical care units.
  • Conduct routine laboratory testing, monitor vital signs, and provide drugs or treatments.
  • Help physicians evaluate patients’ conditions.
  • Prepare the patients for inspection and treatment.
  • Administer pharmaceuticals and medications.
  • Provide bedside care and document patient visits.
  • Assist in coordinating patient transfers, including monitoring patients’ vital signs and transferring them.
  • Report patient observations and issues to personnel as needed.
  • Assist with ordering supplies.
  • Maintain medical records, such as prescription and treatment records.
  • Assist in patient orientation and education programs.
  • Take vital signs.
